On part one of the tour “Look! This is our God” you will travel through Egypt examining artifacts and their relevance to Bible history. Travel back in time over 3,000 years and step into the shoes of the Israelites in Egypt. What challenges to faith did the Israelites experience? How was their faith rewarded? Examples of what you can expect to see include:
- Fish amulet: How were fish and the Nile river worshipped in Egypt?
- Statue of the Egyptian god Sekhmet: How was Sekhmet proven powerless by Jehovah?
- Fragment from the Book of the Dead: What was the Book of the Dead? How did the Egyptians prepare for death?
- Chariot Fixture: Why were chariots symbols of the Egyptian’s power?
By the end of the tour, you too will be saying “Look! This is our God!”
