In the Footsteps of Jesus

Tour Description:

Important events preceding Jesus’ death occurred at places in or near Jerusalem: the garden of Gethsemane, the Sanhedrin hall, the house of Caiaphas, the palace of Governor Pilate, and eventually Golgotha. What happened on the final night of Jesus’ earthly life? Let us visit some of the major archaeological sites in Jerusalem and see how archaeology matches Bible history. Some of these discoveries shed light upon some of the important events in Jesus’ life.

About the Museum/Location:

In the Jewish Quarter of the Old City in Jerusalem, we find a nicely restored excavation site from the first century C.E., known as the Herodian Quarter (Wohl Museum). The buildings were located in the Upper City, where Jerusalem’s wealthy people lived, including the high priests.

Fabulous!!!! I love to travel. I can sit in the comfort of my home and visit Jerusalem and feel safe from the pandemic and enjoy the company of fellow worshippers across the globe. What more could I ask for? Thank you, Jehovah my god!!!

It was so wonderful to see simulations of the Ancient sites in Jerusalem where Jesus walked and performed his miracles at. This tour really made me really meditate on the gift of his sacrifice – not just his death, but the type of life he choose to live while on Earth. Really a wonderful tour. This is my second go around and loved every second! Perfect way to get prepared for the Memorial of Jesus’ death.

It was so intriguing that the time flew by. This could not have been better timed with the Memorial upon us. What an amazing tour. I valued all of the references that were used to back everything up. Thank you so much. It brought the emotion to life for Jesus’ final days.

This presentation is a must-see. I have been to Israel and I thought I had seen it all but this presentation was absolutely breathtaking. So many details that I had missed. Thank you so much. I will come back and see it again, and I am sure that there will be new things to learn.
