About the museum: Located in the very heart of the city, the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb is a museum with over 450,000 varied artifacts and monuments, gathered from various sources but mostly from Croatia. The museum was founded in 1846. The Egyptian collection is the only one of its kind in the south east part of Europe. The numismatic collection is one of the biggest and most important in Europe and indeed in the world.

Egypt and its people are referred to more than 700 times in the Bible. Egypt and the Egyptians have figured prominently in Bible history, and many archaeological discoveries confirm what the Scriptures say about this ancient land.
The tour will answer the following questions: What do we know about the religion and customs of the ancient Egyptians? What special significance did the Ten Plagues have? How did Jehovah prove his superiority over Egypt’s gods? How were the Israelites involved in the issue between Jehovah and Egypt’s gods?
Learning more about Egypt will help us to understand many things mentioned in the Bible.

Qualified guides will tour you through the museum and highlight artifacts related to the Bible theme. You will learn among other things, about Bible history, prophecy as well as Biblical archaeology. Furthermore, you will learn about historical persons in connection with the Bible. High-quality artwork of Bible persons, places, and historical individuals will be used throughout the tour to enhance your experience. The tour will be interactive with thought-provoking questions being posed by your guide throughout the tour.
